Resolve

I've been really reflective this past week. There is something so invigorating and exciting about the chance to recommit and start anew in a bright and shiny New Year. A year with no mistakes in it yet. Full of possibility. Full of chances to grow and be better. But it also makes me reflect on the blessings of the past year. It has been a challenging 18 months for me. Having a difficult pregnancy, having a newborn, moving across the country, buying our first home...but now, all those challenges seem so much more like blessings. I know that is the way our Father in Heaven works. And I'm glad after 33 years, I'm starting to trust Him a little more to know what is best for me.

In celebration of the coming year, Megan and I altered a couple of Target notebooks to track the progress of our resolutions and to record impressions, uplifting thoughts, pictures and quotes for 2008. We had a great time making them and recording our specific goals for 2008 and how we intend to keep them.

I hope you have a safe and joyous New Year's Eve. I'll catch you in 2008!

Great thoughts! It is exciting to have a new year full of possibilities!

Love the notebook- especially that cute little bird on yours! Is it a stamp or a rubon?

Can't wait to get together again! I miss you!!
