Tony and I were late-comers to the whole American Idol phenomenon...I think we started watching about Season 4. We've been watching long enough now that we could pretty much start our own show. Yeah, we're pretty much talent experts. But last night...ah...last night. I did the unprecedented. I actually voted. How could I not? And who did I vote for? Here's a hint.
Take a little of this...
...and add a little bit of this...
...and you get this. AND my first ever American Idol vote.
Blazin' molten HOT.

Yes - he was amazing! It was a pretty cool arrangement. He has gotten better every time I hear him. I'm glad I have a friend watching American Idol! It's good stuff. :)
Wasn't he just wicked awesome? I didn't want to like him when he was voted into the top 24. But, he is just truly amazing. This is the second time that he has taken an original song and transformed it into something I would probably buy today. A very creative and talented guy.
We are AI die hards. We record it when we're not home. :0)
haven't watched it yet... hooray for DVR... but that was a great intro, I probably would have voted too!
I'm so sad that I missed it last night. HOLY CRAP that was f-ing amazing!
That was a great performance.
don't know who you voted for because we don't get that show, BUT I love the show and miss it. Good for you for voting. I've always wanted to!
Good choice, he did so awesome on his song. I thought that was the best song out of the whole competition. I have been watching it faithfully this year. But, if you choose again, David Archeleta and Brook ? are Mormon. I am very excited about that!
Fun I like to waatch this one as well can't wait to see who is in the top 5
thanks for the twilight info.
yeah, i totally thought that performance was great. such a cool voice and i'm not one for the latest singers/songwriters and their voices (john mayer and co., sorry!) but, he was great! (what was his name? i never get to catch entire episodes.)
He is soooo good, but I still like Chris Daughtry better. I can't decide who my favorite is this season...it keeps changing.
We watched biggest loser instead. But that was awsome!
I am so with you on that. I seriously don't watch AI but I saw him and he was amazing and I love Chris Cornell's "Billy Jean". Pretty darn amazing I must say
