Ribbon Storage

My friend Jeni asked me the other day about how I store my ribbon that I use for cards and scrapbook pages.

I have all my ribbon on plastic embroidery floss bobbins in floss organizers. It is the easiest way I have found to find the color and pattern that I need in a glance. Plus, it looks pretty. (And a special thanks to my sister-in-law who helped me wind all my ribbon on a visit to Great Falls while Tony was deployed. You know, Lena, we're really nerds for enjoying it as much as we did...)

We have a 4 day weekend ahead with daddy home...so excited!!

OMG!!! Can someone buy me that for Christmas. I LOVE how you can see everything. They look so pretty it would be almost hard to use them. Thanks for sharing.

I just stumbled across your blog. I LOVE this idea for organizing ribbons. I'm going to dump my cross-stitch thread this weekend, I haven't cross-stitched in well over eight years anyway! Thanks for the idea, love your blog!

WOW!!! Now thats what I need. Let alone someone with your organization skills to do it for me! I love to have things neat & organized, I just lack the skills to make it happen

So, what I'd really like to know is what's NOT organized in your home?

Enjoy your 4 day weekend!

I think this has to be by far the best way I've seen ribbon stored. Seriously.

The company had plenty to do with what made the task enjoyable! However, I did like to see the ribbon in their proper color categories...
