Anna, Anna, Fabulous Anna

There's just something about this little girl. Maybe it's the overabundance of feminine enthusiasm she exhibits to counteract being caught between two brothers. Maybe it's the desire to alternately astound and exhaust her mother. But this little girl...ah. She is amazing. She is fearless. She is sweet. And she is growing up too fast.

Here is her self-portrait entitled "Anna as Singing Rapunzel." You don't have to be an art historian to know that it's simply brilliant.

She is THRIVING in preschool. She loves every moment. And the latest new development is this way to say good-bye. Darling.

And just as an example of what my mom calls her "Minnie Mouse voice", here is a clip we took at the Sea Life Center in Seward on our trip to Alaska this summer. I love the way she calls me "mommy".

We love you, sister!

This post reminds me...just last night when Lance was putting Hayley to bed, he told her she was getting so heavy and growing up too fast. He told her to stop growing up. She said, "No daddy, I'm going to grow up just like you!"

He came out of her room a little bummed - he doesn't like seeing her get so big so fast. :) He told me he wants her to stay just how she is right now! I agree.

And Anna - she is the same way, it seems...getting too big too fast! What a cute goodbye song!
