My friend Jen sent me this link to the cutest idea for Halloween. And because we can't rest when we get a creative itch, we spent Saturday afternoon at Archivers picking out cute Halloween paper, metal and wooden stars at our local discount store, black pigment ink, sandpaper and a big 'ole jar of Mod Podge.
They turned out so cute that I made a set for my Halloween tree (more on that later), a big one for my front door, and a set for the ladies I visit teach.
Let Autumn begin!

You didn't make me a set? :(
But thanks for sharing such a fun idea. :) They are beautiful papers. I LOVE Archivers but mine is like at least 45 minutes away:(
Looks like I am moody today.
Like I need another reason to buy stars! Super cute idea! And to think I ALMOST gave away my bottle of mod podge :)
These are SO cute! I'm impressed! Where did you get the stars? Will you be my visiting teacher? J/K!
Wonderful stars! I CAN'T WAIT to see the tree finale! I bet it's to die for! How long did it take you to make so many? Are you a coffee drinker? If it was me making them I'd bank on at least 3 pots to get through!!! ;) he, he, he! Hey, thanks for your super sweet comment the other day. Gosh you made my heart smile that day. I needed that. Thank you hun! Happy Monday to you~ Les
Oh never thought of doing those for Halloween!!! I did one for Christmas last year. Yours turned out great!!! Modge podge rocks!!!!!!! LOL!!
very cute and very festive--(and it so fits in with your star obsession!)
LOVE them! They turned out wonderful.
Love, love, love these!!! Such a fun project! I might have to be a copycat, since I have a sad little star just sitting here in my office waiting for someone to do something to it!
Adorable! I think I need to start getting crafty again.
I love the Halloween stars. Such cute papers. Somehow your projects always turn out way cuter that the inspiration projects, too.
You must have one clever mom. . .
the mom
So cute! You know what a star fetish I have. I am going to make these with my girls. Thanks for the fun idea!
They are so beautiful! I wish I could do things like that and get craft itches!
Your stars are darling, that is the funnest idea. You are so sweet to think of me with the rolling pins. I think I'd better pass though, I just got a lecture from my hubby last night about not buying things we don't need, when were in the negative. He's right, even though it's no fun :) Thankyou so much for thinking of me though, you are such a sweetheart.
so,so CUTE!!!!
Those are so cute! I wish I had time to do things like that more often.
I love, love, love these! Guess I'll be going to get some stars.
HMMMM. Who do you have for Christmas this year? Just wondering...Oh crap, I just remembered it's not me. I was last year. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the star!
These stars are so cute! I think I might have to make some!
Amber you did a great job So cute!
These are so cute!!! I want to make one but I couldn't find the stars at any of the craft stores here. You lived in Great falls, any ideas of where I could find them? Thanks!
