Calling All Roadkill

Sam has decided that since he gets his friend party this year, he wants to have a "Davy Crockett" themed birthday party. That's where you guys come in. Apparently I'll have to come up with a dozen coon-skin caps for the party-goers. So if you happen to see a raccoon lying suspiciously still along the roadside...let me know. :-)

And have a wonderful, safe Thanksgiving tomorrow!! Megs is up and we're starting the pies and rolls this afternoon. I also had another doctor appointment today and got better meds for my poor ear infection. So things are looking very bright, indeed!

Happy Thanksgiving!

So glad you got some better meds. I think having an ear infection is horrible. Hope you get it cleared up soon.

If anyone can up with 'coon skin caps for the party-goers it is you, my friend! What a fun idea for a party!

Hope tomorrow is filled with lots of fun and gooood food!

Amber-

Certainly we can design some animal-friendy coonskin hats for Sam's party. Roadkill, indeed. .

Howdy Amber! Saw that 'roadkill' again and the word howdy popped to my mind. Yes, I might be crazy!!!
I just thought of you when I was reading either Parents or Parenting (I can't recall which it was, I'd have to peek at it again). It had a home remedy they swear by for ear aches that uses warm oil. Have you heard of that one? Is your ear still hurting badly? Lemme know, I'll tell you what they said to do... Heck, anything is worth a try when you don't feel good!
When Momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy~ isn't that how it goes?!?

What a marvelous idea for a birthday party! I happen to know that Oriental Trading Company has fake 'coon skin caps pretty cheap. That is, unless you want to put all that road kill to good use.

Have fun!
