Hand-Dipped Pretzels

Look what we've been up to today!

Tony was in need of some gifts for the families he visits for church so Anna and I spent some time this afternoon hand-dipping pretzels in chocolate! In addition, the white ones got a dusting of red sugar sprinkles and the chocolate ones got a dusting of green sugar sprinkles, courtesy of Miss Anna. I packaged them each separately with a coordinating ribbon and placed one of each into a red felt gift bag I scored in the $1 Spot at Target. I love the way they turned out.

Wish we were on Tony's route!

So what is your favortie kind/brand of chocolate you used for this? I love the mixture of sweet and salty like these have.

Jeni, I used plain 'ole almond bark and it is so yummy! It is easier to work with than regular melting choclate and you get that same great sweet/salty zing.

You are so good at coming up with these things. I know everyone will love them! Alright, how many did you sneak girl? I'd have snuck a dozen or more! But I bet you're way better than me and maybe only had one?!?

You are AMAZING, Amber! I am so impressed with your prolific baking and with your beautiful gift wrapping talent.

I received your Christmas card yesterday. It is incredible - love the stamping, the picture of your beautiful family (had I ever seen a picture of you before? So fun to put a face with your name!) and your wonderful letter. I'm still working on my letter. Hope to finish it today and start getting my cards in the mail this weekend.

Merry Christmas!
