My Kryponite

Every great superhero has its nemesis. The itch they don't dare scratch. The one thing that challenges them to the very limit of their desire to do good.

Luke had Darth Vader.

Tom had Jerry.

Batman had the Joker.

My friends, meet my nenesis.

Whose brilliant idea was it to deliver Girl Scout cookies during Lent?

Just curious.

Seriously.

Amber! This was such a problem for me last year. I ordered an insane ammount of girl scout cookies prior to starting Weight Watchers. They were delivered just as I started making progress. I thought I could eat them a few points at a time. I finally started crying and told Tyler to get rid of them. He handed them out all over town. I think I actually grieved my loss, but at least I did not gain all of the weight back. - Angela

Should have ordered the lemon ones, then you'd be safe. Good luck, as they say: "they freeze well"

um, they've been my weakness this past week too. Those thin mints and the peanut butter patties. Heaven! Sorry you can't partake yet. I'm afraid I'm doing the enjoying for you. :)

I'm with ya sista!! Love the Thin Mints...I get mine this Friday...and that's not good because I JUST decided to start eating "good." I may have to put that thought on hold. Ahhh, man. :)

I believe girl scout cookies are evil. Not really, but I (amazingly) didn't even buy any this year. Mostly because the only time I saw anyone selling them, my husband was with me, and he gently steered me in the opposite direction.

Oh no! That would be really hard...thin mints are wonderful! I wish the best of luck! :)

Hi, love your blog, but I wanted to point out that you mean "its kryptonite," not "it's kryptonite." "It's" is only used to represent IT IS. Misused apostrophes are one of my biggest pet peeves so I had to say something - sorry!!

(Sorry- I meant "its nemesis," not "its kryptonite)

I know what you mean! just yesterday I passed a poster saying this house had the infamous cookies, and while I LOVE the samoas, seeing the price of $3.50 a box when I know I only get 12 in a box, calmed my hunger a little, I was on my way to the dentist so no I didn't give in.

I am right there with you! I had lost a little weight in anticipation of being in a bathing suit during spring break, but I gained every bit of it back (and more probably) when the Thin Mints arrived!
