A couple of months ago I blogged about that cute Amy Butler skirt pattern that I fell in love with. Well, on a shopping trip in Syracuse with Kristi right before the big move, I picked up another one of her patterns for the cutest bag called the Birdie Sling.
I had all the parts and pieces cut out before we moved, but I have spent the last few days putting it all together for Kristi's belated birthday gift.
You might say I'm smitten with Amy Butler.

Even cuter than I imagined when you described it to me. Clever and charming design. And a good
sewing job!

Oh that is so SO cute! I am loving that bag! I have Amy Butler's book, "Stiches", full of creative sewing projects I haven't done yet but keep meaning to! I have looked at it many times, loving the pictures and reading up on how to do it but never seem to get to it! But someday...
Oops, I mean "Stitches"...I can spell, really I can! :)
That is so cute. I love it. I really wish we could have a craft day!!!
Now that is a Cadillac of a purse you have made. I am sure Kristi will enjoy carring that beauty on her arm.
OMG! I love Amy Butler too! I have a lot of her patterns and am totally in love with her fabric. She has a great contrast on her prints. Cute bag! I love the felt decorations too! You and I have very similar tastes!!
