Poor Anna!

For the past few days, Anna hasn't been herself. She hasn't been happy, energetic and content like she usually is. And I knew something wasn't quite right, but she couldn't put her finger on anything that really hurt. But yesterday, her eye started to ooze and swell, and with pinkeye going around, I figured that was the problem. So I called and got a referral so she could be seen at Urgent Care (because it was on a weekend) and we headed downtown. After almost two hours waiting (seriously??) she was running a temperature of 102. The doctor who finally saw her said that her glands were huge, both ears were infected, and she had a sinus infection that was oozing out her eye.

Poor, brave little thing.

That's why women have the babies...

(These photos are from her field trip on Thursday.)

man what'z up with that...everytime you mention one of yours getting sick one of mine gets sick.
It's Madi...of course some stomach thing. She has thrown up bile and had the runs and has not eaten anything in 22hrs and 35 min and counting. I keep trying to give her sips of coke to keep her blood sugar up but I think she is getting those keytones again. She has never need to be in the hostpital except for being diagnosed with diabtes but I am holding my breat on that. Tomorrow is her birthday and we are suppose to go to six flags. I just finished wrapping all her gifts and made her cake so I hope she gets out of this soon. I better go wake her up and to check her blood sugar and I am praying she can pee so I can check for those keytones again. Anyways I thought is was crazy that when one of yours gets sick mine follow.

Poor little girl! And thank goodness for the miracle of antibiotics. But a tough little girl she is, isn't she! I look forward to reading much more about her adventures thru life. I am sure they will be exciting and abundant!
