This is the last full week of school for our kids. It has been a fantastic year...thanks in large part to the hard work of our kids' teachers. So to express our family's gratitude, I made each of the 5 teachers this year a set of personalized cards with a cute little cross-stitched apple on the front. I tied each set with a homespun ribbon and attached a tag with a note with a piece of twine.
Thanks for a great year!

I really LOVE those and I know your teachers will too!!! I saved the pattern for the hearts you did back in the winter...will you share your pretty little apple...pretty please with a cherry on top. I have never made cards with a cross-stitch on them...shame huh? I am going to fix that.
Madi is better and no hospital needed!!! Tomorrow...Six Flags!
You are such a good mom. And you have the best ideas! Now if I could just get motivated . . .
THANK YOU!!!
Something I might be able to work on during my move.
I am going to miss Georgia...I just ran up to the store and there was a semi painted like the General Lee....YEHAW!
Adorable! I love your projects!
You are sooo awesome! I love how you always make "crafted" items to give away! Thanks for being such a great example! Huggies! Vicki
I made some of these. They were so fun and came out very pretty. The kids teachers loved them but said they didn't want to use them because they were too pretty.
With my long move overseas again this summer I will not have any of my stuff for over 2 months so I think I am going to cross-stitch something to use on my Christmas cards. Do you have any fun crafting ideas for this summer? Good luck with your move!
