Sweet Home...Alabama?

That's right, folks. We're on the move. Again. We found out this week that Tony was selected to attend ACSC (Air Command and Staff College) in Montgomery, Alabama next summer. We're pretty proud of him...it is a competitive selection process and we are excited for this opportunity for him and his career. It is a one year program and then we'll be moving again, hopefully finding a place to land for more than just one or two years. Yikes.

I must say, we've exhausted the entire northwestern quadrant of the country for places to live...I'm excited for a little change of scenery. And I'm ready for a little sunshine.

Wow! Congrats to Tony! Busy times ahead for you all...but busy is good, right?? So, will you be saying "Roll 'Tide"?? :-) You'll "only" be 18 hrs away from here!

That's exciting! Josh's brother spent a year there doing the same and they enjoyed a lot of fun BEACH time! Congrats!

How exciting!!! I think you are in for a treat. Dang you move east right when we will be moving west (Beale AFB, Sacramento area).

Our movers just dropped our household goods off here last month just to come back the first of June to take them to California. Same thing happened in Germany and Mississppi. We just have to keep our cool!

I really am excited for you guys.

p.s. I was very nervous about going back West and North I didn't care for it before but Sacramento has the same weather as Atlanta...0" of snowfall, sunny, warm very seldom gets below freezing.

Madi and I are going to be California Girls :-)

FYI There ain't no sittin' on the fence...Auburn or Alabama? You gotta pick one if you're gonna live there.

My family moved from Ft. Sill, Okalahoma to Ft. Rucker, Alabama January of my 11th grade year and I graduated from Enterprise High. I remember we had to pick and boy is it fun during football season!

Wow, Amber! Look what happens when I get behind on reading blogs!

Can't believe you're moving again already, but what an exciting opportunity for Tony!

I hope you like Alabama. I think you'll find the people very friendly.

Keep us posted on the "home hunting" and the move. What do the kids think?

WOW! That's exciting. I once attended 4 elementary schools in one year (Idaho, northern California, Southern California and France) so I know how exhausting military moving can be. But it makes the kids stronger and better friends with each other, and it is always a good adventure. That's very exciting for Tony. Congrats! Maybe our paths will cross at some point in time...
