Kids' Valentines 2011

All three kids needed Valentines for their class this year. And as I was sorting through some of my old files, I came across some really cute ideas I had tucked away. The kids ultimately chose their own (and helped put them together) and we're all pleased with their sheer cuteness and cleverness.

These are Anna's flower petal and Dum-Dum flowers.

And for the 10-year-old that doesn't particularly care for Valentine's Day, the Dum-Dum Valentine.

And Josh's cute Alien tags for fruit roll-ups. Classic.

Have a wonderful Valentine's day! I will be out of commission for a few weeks because I am finally going in for my shoulder surgery on Thursday and it's hard to type one-handed while on pain killers. I'm particularly anxious about it...mostly because my job as a typical mommy will be put on hold for weeks through recovery and physical therapy. Joan and my mom will both be coming to share the burden, but your prayers for comfort, success and a quick recovery would be GREATLY appreciated. Loves to you all!
