M&M Mother's Day Gift

Hello! Don't really know if my "blog-break" is all the way over yet, but I did want to post this cute idea that I came across for my Sunbeam class to give their moms on Mother's Day this Sunday. I found the original idea here and manipulated it to work for my class. I stapled the instructions below on the cute little snack packs of M&Ms (I used the small ones so that the game won't last 6 hours).

A Mom & Me Moment for Mother’s Day!

Directions: Find a quiet place where you can be alone with the special woman of the day…your mom! Then, open the top of your M&Ms bag. Take turns picking an M&M candy from the bag without looking. Look at the list below for the directions that match the color you drew. Ask the other person your question. Have a fun time with your mom!

Blue: What is one of your favorite things to do with me?
Yellow: Tell me a story about a good day that you had.
Green: Tell me about a bad day that you had.
Brown: What is one of your favorite things to eat?
Red: What is something you really love about me?
Orange: Hum a song and I’ll try to guess what it is!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Hi Amber - I know your Mom (we taught seminary together for about 2 years). I also am a friend of Cherie Napoleon. I met you when I lived in Anchorage and you were at your Mom's several years ago. I wanted to let you know that I occasionally read your blog and really enjoy your ideas. I've used one or two of them for visiting teaching.
Thanks -
