Last night was the big Castle Season 4 premiere. Nice. And then today was the release date for Season 3 on DVD and also the release date for Richard Castle's third book, Heat Rises. Yes, you read that right. The main character in the show, Richard Castle, is a best-selling author who shadows an NYPD detective and then bases his books on her and her murder squad. And "he" actually writes
real books based on the characters on the TV show. Pretty clever. Who actually writes the books is still the big question but so far, nobody is making any admissions.
Us Castle fans seem to come out of the woodwork. A friend in my ward is also a huge fan and she told me about a short-lived TV show released in 2002 called Firefly which is sort of a space cowboy show also starring Nathan Fillion. It took me a few episodes to get into it, but it was so much like Castle that it sure helped pacify the bug for the rest of the summer. But now, oh yes now, the next few weeks I'll be on a Castle high. And I can't wait.

i love the show too. i am thrilled to see how he will keep her from solving the case. I am not so happy that she lied to him. Not cool.
We so loved the premiere!! This is the ONLY show we actually get the kids into bed early for!!! Even Paul loves it. Hillarious!
I love Castle! It is so addicting. Even Jason gets into it so I am a happy camper.
Oh, and the big question... How are the books? I haven't read any of them but I think I might need to!
I am loving this whole week!!! Our most antisipated was Hawaii Five-0. I gave Revenge at try last night and liked it. Tonight I am cooking Pioneer Women's pot roast for dinner; then getting a cross-stitch ready for the two hour Grey's....it's going to be a GREAT night. Enjoy the rest of your TV week. :-)
I'm totally addicted!! Last season just came out on DVD and it's on my queue. MIke's a fan too. ( =
