Happy Birthday, Sweet Joshua!

Our darling little caboose baby is officially one year old today. Joyous, and perhaps a little bittersweet. It is so fun to watch him grow and delight in his developing personality, but just the same, I'm wishing today that time wasn't passing so quickly.

We celebrated with cake and presents yesterday because Tony left early this morning for a course in San Antonio. The big kids helped open all the presents, and Josh was happy just to be in the center of the chaos.

His favorite things currently are speed crawling, eating Kix and cheese, riding facing forward in his big-boy car seat, and giving high-fives. He has the quickest smile and loves to be in the middle of the action. Not hard when he is the center of our little world.

It really seems like last week that Josh joined our family. Despite the many challenges of his pregnancy, he has never ceased to delight every member of our family. We wouldn't be complete without him.

So, little booger-boo, we wish you every happiness this year and always. We love you to infinity and beyond!

It's just not possible! I will always think of him as the tiny little guy he was when you came to visit Nebraska to look for houses last summer. Happy Birthday, Josh!

Happy Birthday, Joshua! I was going to send an e-mail to wish Joshua and the whole family a happy 1st birthday, but I figured I would just send the greeting here. I know you all are already in bed where you are, but we have been thinking about you all day and send lots of love and hugs. The first birthday is a big milestone for baby and parents . . . and now you get to enjoy each day with a toddler approaching 2! So much growth and change happens in these early years. Happy Birthday again - we celebrate your family!
Many Blessings,
Courtney and the rest of the Everards
