Going Home

After a week at home with my family, a beautiful funeral and military internment ceremony for my dad, and some quality mourning and sorting time with my sisters and mom, I am heading home tomorrow.

(This picture was taken by my Uncle Don just as the Honor Guard was presenting the flag that had been placed on my father's casket to my mother. Gorgeous.)

I guess in a way, we are both going home.

Do you see the shadow of the cross on the end of the casket? Beautiful thoughts and picture. I don't think I comment much despite reading you are two years now I think...but am keeping you and your family in my prayers.

I'm glad you have been blessed with such a wonderful father and most especially with the knowledge that you will see him again.
