Happy Veteran's Day to you guys.

We are heading to Golden Coral for dinner....it's free for Active duty and veteran's. We went last year and it was fun...you just have to get there a little early.

catching up . . . yes, thank you! The acorns are cute . . . and so tell me, what is a visiting teacher? It seems like the right church ministry to be in if you get all these cute gifts every month! :) And your DC trip sounded great - I did a big paper and presentation on FDR in 8th grade social studies, and I have had an affection for him ever since.

Courtney,

Visiting teaching is a way for the ladies in our church congregation (ward) to help each other. I have a companion and the two of us visit 4 ladies each month to visit, talk, and support each other. It is an amazing thing! I hate to come empty handed to someone's house, and we have so grown to love the ladies we visit that we like to bring them little treats!!
